Triangle Booleans

Triangle models can be combined, merged, or intersected directly with one another using 'Boolean' operations. For design, these operations giveunrivalled freedom and flexibility. For manufacture, they allow the user to remove the geometry for a product from a solid block to create the necessary tooling pieces.

3D Profile Limit

For complex 3D parts, flat split-lines are not enough. These parts can now be split along their 'natural' horizon curves, or user-defined 3D profiles.

Surface Creation

Two new surface creation methods have been added - best-fit planes,and patches fitted to point-clouds. These two methods are further complemented with the optional embedding of the PS-Surfacer editing suite inside CopyCAD's main window.
